Nothing is more motivating than a new volunteer talking to voters face-to-face. Bus trips make it happen.
We fill a bus with excited young members of Forward Montana to drive to communities across the state of montana, and talk to voters on their doorsteps about the candidates and issues who will move our state forward.
Get on the bus to hang out with old friends and make new ones as we travel across beautiful Big Sky Country, knowing your efforts are the reason our candidates cross the finish line first on Election Day.
A typical bus trip will bring upwards of 40 volunteers to load into a bus and travel around Montana to talk to people on their doorsteps about the causes or candidates they care about.Volunteers get tasty meals, have fun playing bus games, and meet the next generation of Montana’s leaders.
Research shows face-to-face contacts is by far the most effective way to motivate people to get out on Election Day. When you get on the bus you make the difference for the candidates who want to invest in our future.
“It is because Forward Montana brought a bus full of excited, energetic volunteers to Billings to help me that I was won my race. In a bad election year for progressive candidates Forward Montana’s work helped me unseat a bad incumbent by 4 votes”
-Sen. Kendall Van Dyk
“I had never been involved in politics before and was intimidated to get involved. I took a chance and got on the bus and had a blast. I made new friends, had a ton of fun, and knocked my first doors for candidate. I’ll be back next year for sure”
